About the Job
Male, Black, Afro-Latino, or mixed Black-Latino, late 20s to late 30s Pictured Role Ray is Lena’s cousin, and though his presence in the current script is limited, his absence drives the emotional turn of the story. The actor cast in this role should feel grounded, warm, memorable, and real, someone whose loss lands immediately. As written, this is primarily a photo / featured role, but strong face, presence, and family believability are important. Casting note: Family resemblance with Lena and Lena’s Uncle is a priority.
